Campaigns for Change

We remain committed to community-based work, but we know there are larger barriers that keep people from thriving. Through the following campaigns we challenge the laws and policies that do not promote autonomy.

1. Eat and Drink Local Products Only Campaign.

This campaign aims to encourage people to consume local products by educating and empowering Palestinian consumers about the importance of supporting their local economy and of fighting against unemployment and poverty.

2. Children Inspectors Campaign

This campaign aims to protect consumers and encourages young people to be knowledgeable about the goods and products in their local stores. This project of inspection is to ensure product validity and to encourage consumers to buy local products. By their involvement, children develop an awareness of social responsibility.

3. Family Weapons.

 The Family Weapon campaign aimed to reduce the use of violence in resolving disputes between the people.

4. Empower the Silent Majority to Participate in the Peace Process.

This campaign aims to activate the participation of the silent majority in the peace process between the PLO and Israel. We want to enable these individuals and groups of people who have an understanding of the conditions in which people live and are apt to make specific recommendations regarding the direction of these negotiations. We want to encourage them to submit proposals to the Palestinian Negotiation Department.
