Our Approach
Our Goal
To create a generation of Palestinians who believe in reconciliation, forgiveness, respect of diversity, democratic practices and equal opportunities, and who apply nonviolent and peaceful means to counter injustice. We create and support a variety of projects in order to achieve our goal enabling children and young people to exercise their right to be in charge of their own lives. This leads us to work in a variety of settings where we are able help people gain hope, develop skills and a sense of direction in order to create a new future. We are active in addressing social justice issues through our advocacy and alternative education programs and through the nonviolent campaigns we launch.
Our Approach
We are working on preparing a new generation of young people to participate in the process of social change in order to achieve social justice in Palestine.
Alternative EducationWe work to bring books and information accessible to children who are living in marginalized areas. During the Book Mobile visits to the villages, we listen to the problems that residents face. We advocate them towards nonviolent responses to their grievances. We educate the children on the importance of peaceful means to practice their rights in education and play in peace.
Campaigns for Change
We remain committed to community-based work, but we know there are larger barriers that keep people from thriving. Through the following campaigns we challenge the laws and policies that do not promote autonomy.
Local Partnerships
We collaborate with local organizations to help people identify and address the root causes of violence. Today, we maintain relationships with more than 15 partners on the ground; these strategic alliances are the key to our success.
