LOWNP Produced a Book about Nonviolence.  

Library on Wheels for Nonviolence and Peace has produced a book titled Nonviolent Resistance in Palestine 1967 to 1993. This book is an academic study for Master Degree done by Mr. Basem Raba’i within the investment staff program of LOWNP. The book is considered as first academic study in the Arab world, deals with the concept and philosophy of nonviolent resistance in Palestine. The book is written in Arabic and contains 244 pages size 17 X 24.

LOWNP Produced 5 booklets about Nonviolence Tradition in Islam for Children. 

Lownp produced 5 booklets series regarding nonviolence tradition in Islam for the Palestinian children. These booklets written in Arabic with information obtained from different religion leaders, in order to underline the Nonviolence tradition in Islam.The title of the booklet is Nonviolence Tradition in Islam. The theme of the booklets is Nonviolence Tradition in Qura’n, Nonviolence Tradition in Prophet Mohamed Sayings and Deeds, Methods of Nonviolence in a Moslem Society, Nonviolence and Woman in Islam, Imams Perspectives in Nonviolence. As Lownp we have the responsibility to inspire our children with determination and ability to resolve conflicts without the use of weapons. By doing this, we can give our children the skills they need for problem solving, dialogue and negotiations to help them survive in a hostile environment. It is particularly important for our children to gain confidence in their tradition and ability to solve their own problems rather than to rely on those in authority to do so for them.
