In October 20, 2009, eighteen children were educated about the types of violence practiced against them, dealing with actions can be taken to prevent violence against them, and the responsibilities that come with their rights to avoid the abuse of the others. 
Eleven children were trained in Nonviolent Communication "words and their impact in maintaining the personality". They learnt the identification of words that do harm the others, the identification words that encourage and support the others and the identification of words that affect maintaining the personality.

Library on Wheels for Nonviolence and Peace ended a Hebrew language and a Jewish Tradition Courses. Nafez Assaily –Director- inaugurated the courses by representing the projects and objectives of LOWNP and reassured the importance of learning the Hebrew language and the Jewish tradition. He also reassured the importance of taking these courses since it helps in discovering how the others think and explore the Jewish Tradition.

The number of attendance reached up to 56 some of them are from different ministries of the Palestinian Authority and university students.

Library on Wheels for Nonviolence and Peace - Lownp and its partner the African Community in Jerusalem participated in Summer Camp 2009 for children in Poppi – Italy.

The participants were 10 boys and girls aged 12 to 15 years old. The children were accompanied by 2 leaders.

The children were invited by Italian monthly magazine of faith called Confronti and the Summer Camp 2009 was organized by the Italian Scouts Association.

The Summer Camp 2009 lasted for 2 weeks.

Library on Wheels for Nonviolence and Peace - Lownp implemented training in Nonviolent Communication, in order to teach the Palestinian youth, how to communicate their family members, their friends, their colleagues and their opponents in time of tension, frustration, anger to deal positively in their daily. The attendances were fifteen students from different universities.

Nafez Assaily, the director, assured that this training is the first of series trainings that will be implemented during 2009. He also assured that these training sessions are part of the yearly plan for the House of Nonviolence project. This training lasted for two weeks.
